Bremma’s was brought about from the dreams of Laurabeth Ferguson (Owner of Fergndan’s), Emma Grace Ferguson (Laurabeth’s Daughter), and Brooke Mardis (Fergndan’s first intern and then first full time employee).

Each has always wanted to have a professional bakery of their own!  They loved baking for others and longed for opportunities to bake all of the great sweets they grew up with or dreamed up in their own kitchens.  Laurabeth’s grandmother, mother, and sister had already developed quite the repertoire of awesome desserts that she grew up with and passed along to Emma, and her mother-in-law (Joan Ferguson of Hernando, MS) had a passion for baking and added to that collection.  Joan’s kitchen passion eventually led her to enter and ultimately be the Mississippi Magazine Recipe Contest Grand Prize Winner of 2007.

Brooke grew up the same way with her own collection of family recipes and pursued her dreams all the way to a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts from The Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS.  While Brooke worked for Fergndan’s Wood Fired Pizza, she and Emma Grace became best friends and with the encouragement of Laurabeth and the development of the Fergndan’s kitchen after they opened the restaurant they began to make those dreams a reality!

Fergndan’s bought out a bakery in Collierville, TN while developing their commissary and restaurant kitchen.  It was stocked with a lot of the things Fergndan’s needed immediately for the commissary and could grow into for the future use in the bakery. With the inclusion of the convection oven, extra mixers, all of the baking toys they were finally able to realize the fulfillment of all of those dreams and some dreams really do come true!
